What is IP Marketplace?
IP Marketplace is an online display window where buyers and sellers of IP rights can contact each other.
At IP Marketplace you can put your patents, patent applications, utility models, design and trademarks up for sale or out-licensing. You can also use IP Marketplace to search for IP rights to buy or license in.
The website is managed by the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. It’s free of charge for both buyers and sellers.
IP Marketplace has existed since 2007. A new, modernized version of the site was launched in 2017.
Limitations of IP Marketplace
IP Marketplace facilitates the initial contact between buyers and sellers of IP rights. Negotiations take place offline, just as the sale isn’t concluded at IP Marketplace. The Danish Patent and Trademark Office does not offer any legal advice in regards to the deal. If you need specific advice, you must contact a private adviser.
Please read the terms and conditions for using IP Marketplace before you create a listing or contact a seller.
